SafeContractor accredited tree surgeons – what is it and how does it benefit you?
Dedham Vale Tree Surgery has recently been awarded the SafeContractor accreditation by Alcumus. With over 30,000 members to date, SafeContractor is “helping build a better working world for everyone”.
What is SafeContractor and how does it benefit our clients?
SafeContractor was founded in 1999 and was created as an accreditation scheme that could effectively recognise an organisations’s capabilities for health and safety all in one place. As a professional tree surgery company all our health and safety policies were already in place, but passing the accreditation gives us an official means of displaying this and promoting it to our clients. Although this accreditation is aimed at procuring commercial contracts, it is also of benefit to domestic clients looking to employ a professional contractor. Benefits to our tree services in Suffolk and Essex include but are not limited to:
- It gives our customers the reassurance that we are fully compliant with health and safety to a set level of standards.
- As it is recognised by SSIP and service providers, it reduces the need for completing multiple pre-qualification assessments, saving time, money, and stress. This is particularly important on larger commercial site clearance contracts.
- Easier and more efficient onboarding.
In short, choosing a tree surgeon with SafeContractor accreditation to their name removes some of the guesswork, helping to ensure that you are engaging with a professional company.
